IGNOU Admission 2026 January session

IGNOU admission 2026 will open soon. Candidates can apply to the student login page on the official website. After applying, you can check your Admission status online. For IGNOU PG Admission 2026, Re-registration is OPEN for the January session for enrolled Students in UG, PG, and other Programs. Students must upload the correct documents. After admission, students should download their IGNOU assignments and submit them before the deadline.

Registration fees for UG and PG programs are INR 300/- for some of the other programs, like BEd, post-basic nursing, and BPP, their fees are INR 1000/-. How to Create IGNOU DEB ID Admission

  • Go to the official portal of  DigiLocker
  • Log in or sign up for an account
  • Select the “Student” option
  • Enter the qualification, including the College name and the ID proof 
  • Create your ABC ID
  • After that, again log in to your DigiLocker account
  • Click on “Issued Documents.”
  • Select “Academic Bank of Credit ID” to download your ABC ID

IGNOU DEB ID creation is compulsory for students who are pursuing any course from ODL( Online program ) and from distance education. Any student who applies for admission must create a DEB ID, a unique number that is provided by the IGNOU.

  • To create a DEB ID, students have to create an ABC ID first from Digilocker.
  • After that, the ABC ID card is created, and students have to submit it in a box ‘R”. Keep reading the instructions to create a DEB ID while using their email ID and contact number.
  •  After the following steps, your DEB ID is created. Use this ID for your admission process.

  • Step 2: Click on “Click Here for New Registration” to create an account using basic personal details.

  • Step 5: Upload the required documents and pay the registration/application fee.
