Indira Gandhi National Open University announced the results of the 15 March 2026 TEE. Result covers theory marks, the assignment marks, and the partial score. IGNOU released the results of UG, PG, Certificate, and Diploma. The result is declared twice a year, apart from these programs, the IGNOU result of the entrance exam, and the project result after 30 to 45 days. Steps To Check The IGNOU December TEE Results 

  • Students have to visit IGNOU’s official website to check the result – ignou.ac.in.
  • To access the “Result” on the top of your home page, click on the “Students support” tab.
  • You will be taken to a new window to view the display.
  • To reach the ‘Term-End’ section on the left, click the link.
  • In the next step, candidates will be redirected to the ”Early Declaration December Exam Result’‘ tab.
  • A new login page will appear
  • Enter your 9-digit enrolment number
  • Your application will be submitted when you click on ‘Submit’.
  •  Now the IGNOU Result will appear on the screen.

IGNOU Results- Key Points

The fee for re-evaluation of an answer copy is INR 750. Students who would like to check their answer copy must pay an additional INR 100 per course. In IGNOU, students must gain a minimum of 40% marks in order to pass their program. IGNOU Assignment result is also included in the grade card.

IGNOU Revaluation Result

  • Applicants can apply for Re-evaluation at the official site of IGNOU if they are not satisfied with their exam marks.

IGNOU Result December TEE Early Declaration

Following are the conditions to apply for an Early Declaration of Results.

(i) If a student has been enrolled in a higher program, a grade card statement needs to be given to IGNOU by a specified date before the University’s results are to be announced.
(ii) The student has given all the other things of course except the TEE of the courses, for which early declaration is needed.

Students who want to apply for early declaration of results must have a valid reason for doing so. The early declaration is used while candidates are checking their recruitment documents, going for job interviews, or applying to another university for higher education.

To receive an early declaration of the results, the applicant must apply within the first month following the TEE examinations. An early declaration will not be accepted if the justification offered is not accepted.

IGNOU Result Percentage Calculation

Students can calculate the percentage of the marks scored in the IGNOU June & December TEE. The calculation method is very easy. An example has been shown below to have a clear picture of the Percentage calculation.

Suppose, a student scored 78 out of 100 in Theory Paper and the Assignment mark is 70. Then, the percentage in this particular subject will come out as follows:

  • For Theory Paper: 87*70% or 87*0.7 = 61
  • For Practical Exam: 70*30% or 70*0.3 = 21
  • Total Marks Obtained: 61+21 = 82 out of 100
  • Percentage: 82/100*100 = 82%  (A-Grade)

IGNOU Result Passing Marks for Degree Courses

Bachelor’s Degree For a 25-mark paper, the candidate must obtain 9 marks to pass.

For a 50-mark paper, the candidate must obtain 18 marks to pass.

For a 100-mark paper, the candidate must obtain 35 marks to pass.

About the IGNOU: It was set up in 1985 and was established by an act of Parliament.
